DarkBrain moving along well... Haunting Ivy art got underway! Scripts for Butcher #2 and The Vat vol. 4 are complete and through our editing process. The Butcher script is even darker and more disturbing than #1, which, honestly, shocked even me! YOW. Michelle and Wintress really have taken this series to where I wanted it to go, and now *I'm* squirming at some of these scenes... Not even kidding, seriously, it's disturbing... and awesome... and disturbing. I checked in with Kip, and he is up for the challenge, very dark stuff...

Mirror #2 art is moving fast, and I think it's Ryan's best stuff yet. Voice work is in for Brenna in Mirror #1 and #2... and just WOW, it is really, really something. I got some really great feedback right here on deviantART and upped my game on lettering... still a ways to go, but a good step forward. The concept art on Kingdom is looking amazing! I can't wait to share that. Art for Bio Wars is coming in. And Ernie Chan has begun art for The Vat vol. 4!

The downside to this week is the unbelievable hours I had to put into QuickBooks (booooring) to get this year sorted out. I have like a mental block on any work that doesn't directly progress a web comic - as that is what I see we are about. Still, have to do the accounting, legal, etc. Kept me from making progress on pages, lettering and code, and the many other hats I wear... which sucks, but had to be done. And, hopefully the worst of that is behind me (wishful thinking?) Ack... "no complaining!" my project mantra, so enough of that.


Work in Progress art?

I've been debating if I should put up work in progress art. Concept art, mockups, etc. I put a poll on my page, so be sure to answer it! For now, I'm trying it out with a few WIP pieces to see what you think - see concept art below. I do want to be a little careful not to short the art, though, as by "art" I mean all of it - music, voicework, pacing, full color, etc. The whole experience is what we are working on, not just the visuals.
